Show Leeton-Bennett Delma Long Miss Lola Bolton, of Salt Lake City, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Bolton over the Thanksgiving holidays. Mrs. Catherine Adams visited her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams, one day last week. ' Mr. and Mrs. Ted Grey and children, of Salt Lake City, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Houston. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilkerson, of Salt Lake City, spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Haslam, of Provo, spent the holiday with Acel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam. Lynn and Morril Haslam, who are attending the B Y U, were home over the weekend. A Triple A meeting was held here Monday with Mr. Hopkins, of Salt Lake City, state supervisor, supervis-or, and Harold Dudley, Uintah county chairman, in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wardle, of Springville, were dinner din-ner guests at the W. Long home on Sunday. June Louise McClure and Lester Les-ter Kerr, of Rangcly, Colo., were united in marriage at the home of Bishop Otis Horrocks, Saturday Satur-day morning. William McClure, acted as best man and Mrs. Gene Mitchell, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Norman W. Long spent Thanksgiving here. Mrs. Clair Haslam and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Betts visited in Salt Lake and Springville last week. Fireside chat was held Sunday Sun-day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam. Wendell Johnson, Alterra seminary teacher, teach-er, was the guest speaker. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Russon have returned from Salt Lake where they have been visiting while doing temple work. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam had Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bolton as dinner guests on Thanksgiving. |
