Show BASIN BRIEFS The illness of the X-ray technician tech-nician who will handle the chest X-ray survey for the Indian service ser-vice has necessitated the changing chang-ing of the dates. The recently amended schedule will be as follows; fol-lows; Whiterocks, December 10-11; Ouray. December 13-14; Rand-lett, Rand-lett, December 15 and Ft. Duchesne, Du-chesne, December 6-7. Dr. Berman, Salt Lake eye specialist, will be at the Hanson hotel in Roosevelt, Friday, December De-cember 10, to make eye examinations exami-nations and prescribe glasses. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wahl-. Wahl-. quist and daughter, motored to Salt Lake one day during the week. Students home from college to spend the Thanksgiving holiday v included Donna Rae and Rcnee Labrum, Sarah Colton, Betty Jo Sprouse, Deloris Fredrickson, Lowell Hall, Burr, Erma and Eva Eldredge, Ila Ruth Zimmerman, Wayne Timothy, Gail Wilson, Audrey Smith, Cal Wilkins, Lila Lee Odekirk, Rodney Perry and LeRoy Pulos. Pvt. Ray P. Johnston, son of Mrs. N. K. Johnston, is home on leave from his base at Wichita Falls, Texas, where he is sta-. tioned with the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Garrth Gardner students at the B Y U at Provo, visited over the weekend with their parents here and at Neola. Mrs. E. J. Nixon, Jack and Dorothy were home from Provo for the Thanksgiving holidays. They drove back to Provo Sunday Sun-day afternoon accompanied by Rodnev Perry and LeRoy Pulos, both students at the B Y U. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Burton and family, of Provo, visited nere and at Neola during1 the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving weekend. Mr. Burton was formerly contact representative for; the Veterans Administration stationed at Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Orser ' and family, of Salt Lake City, spent Thanksgiving and the weekend with Dee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Orser. Miss Edna Boyle, Mrs. Mary Alice Edstrom and Mrs. Frank Daly, of Salt Lake City, spent Thanksgiving at the home of their sistef and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Nyberg. - . Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Killian went to Salt Lake City Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Homer P. Edwards, Ed-wards, Carol Cook and Kay Labrum La-brum motored to Bingham to spend Thanksgiving with the Edward's Ed-ward's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nelson. Their grandson. Paul Nelson, returned to Roosevelt with them for a short visit. Mrs. Merle Edwards, of Logan, and Mrs. Alton Horrocks, of Salt Lake, spent Thanksgiving with their mother, Mrs. Ella Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Bellon, Phillip Phil-lip and Kyle, spent a few days last week in Elko, Nevada as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mohlman. Mr. and Mrs. Adwin Beeler and family motored to Salt Lake last week to spend Thanksgiving with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Rich-man. Rich-man. While their they attended the U of U - Utah Aggie game. Dorothy Dillman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Dillman, will play the lead role in the school play "Little Women," at the Utah State Agricultural college. col-lege. ' Mr. and Mrs Frank Yack plan to leave December 11 to attend the National Bee Convention to be held at St. Louis, Mo.. December Decem-ber 13-14-15. They will spend b few days in Chicago before returning re-turning to Roosevelt in time for Christmas with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron drove to Salt Lake City Sunday to take their daughter, Mrs. Ted Tussler, and her small daughter, on the first lap of their return trip to their home in Rochester, New York. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Allred spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake with their son, Melvin. Mrs. Earl Dillman and little son, Drew, spent a few days last week in Salt Lake with relatives and friends. Alma Richman and a friend, George Young, of Provo, flew to Roosevelt Sunday for a visit with Alma's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Richman. An interesting sidelight on Wednesday's school board election elec-tion is the vote cast in each of the three dtstricts where polls were set up.
