Show Ml. Emmons Peggy Ann Case Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen left Thursday for a trip to Riv-crton, Riv-crton, Wyo., to visit relatives. They were accompanied by Mrs. Hansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs Edgar Thayne, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Myrtle Harding, of Long Beach, Calif. The Thaynes and Mrs. Harding had been guests at the Hansen home for a week preceding their departure de-parture for Wyoming. Scouts from- the Moon Lake stake returned Friday evening from a 5-day trip to Moon Lake and Brown and Clement lakes Bishop Wm. R. Evans accom-companicd accom-companicd the Mt. Emmons boys. Most of the men and boys went by automobile to Moon Lake, others took pack horses in order to reach the higher lakes. District Dis-trict Scout Commissioner James C. Anderson, of Price, attended the camparec. Mt. Emmons boys making the trip were Don Evans, George Chapman, Barton Ben-ion. Ben-ion. Larry Ward, Curtis Dastrup and Arlys Iorg. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Iorg and children are here from California Cal-ifornia for a visit with Mrs Iorg's parents, Mr. and Mrs George Fisher, Sr. During the week they spent four days camping camp-ing and fishing up on the river at Fisher's ranch. Others participating par-ticipating in the outing were Leona and John Titcomb and Ted Fisher. Mrs. Rose Boswell, of Neplii is a guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell. Mrs. Lcroy Thacker and son, Alton, who have recently moved to Draper, are here visiting Mrs Thacker's daughter, Mrs. Lcland Stevenson, and her son. Wesley Thacker, and their families. Other guests of Stcvensons and Thackers during the week were Mrs. Stella Thacker Davies and children, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hislop accompanied the Junior band members on their outing to Lagoon, La-goon, Friday. Band members making the trip were Carma Jean Hansen, Ruby Titcomb, Larry Hansen, Josephine Wall and Paul and David Hislop. Miss Colleen Orr was treated at the Roosevelt hospital three days during the past week for complications following a bad cold. She is reported to be recovering re-covering satisfactorily. Arthur Case came out from Salt Lake, Friday evening to get his wife and son, who have been visiting with Mrs. Case's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr. They returned home Sunday. Jack Wirthlin has returned home to help his father on the farm. He has been employed in Salt Lake City since' April. Dinner guests at the Floyd Case home Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Tex Swcatfield and Larson Caldwell, of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Holder are the owners of a new Chevrolet Chevro-let car. Storm McDonald, of Heber, brought the car out Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. Dicy Lister came home, Thursday, after a visit in Boise, Idaho, with her son, James, and family. George Rogers had as his passengers pas-sengers from Salt Lake. Tuesday, his daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Murray, who have been in Twin Falls. Idaho for the past month. Mr. Rogers took them to their home in Myton the following day. |
