Arthur Wiscombe" is home to stay after working for the past several months at Morgan. A little grandson, Michael Hopkins, Hop-kins, of Salt Lake, is visiting at the Wiscombe home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young and family left for their home in Los Angeles, Saturday, after visiting for the past six weeks with Mrs. Young's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Coston. Mrs. Eric Stolla spent a couple of days in Salt Lake last week to be with her daughter, Ruth, who was married to Glen Molyneux, of Salt Lake, on August 17 in the Salt Lake temple. Mr. and Mrs, Lester Kettle (entertained at an outdoor party August 17 for Mr. and Mrs Floyd Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tanner, Mr. and Mrs, Le-Roy Le-Roy Anderson and family. The occasion celebrated the Kettles' wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Pool, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend with the George Brackens and Elton Kettles. Russel Todd visited in Roosevelt Roos-evelt one day last week with i r - ' 4 his uncle, Dave Murdock, of Heber. Dr. Dave Murdock, of Los Angeles, brought his father, who is 94 years of age and still very active, to visit friends in the basin. Wendel Johnson, who Is attending at-tending summer school at the B Y U, spent the weekend here with his wife and children. While here he attended Stake Conference Confer-ence and was installed as stake clerk. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Moly-neux Moly-neux and daughters, of Salt Lake, former Ballard residents, came out to attend the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Molyneux. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Antonio and children, of Gallop, N. M,, are guests at the Angus Anderson Ander-son home. The Antonio's and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson motored to Salt Lake City, Saturday. Sat-urday. Bertha Brady, of Huntington, has been a recent guest at the Aldcn White home. The Relief Society plans a ba-zarr ba-zarr at the chapel at 8 p. m. August 31. Everyone is invited. Mr. and Mrs. Erold Wiscombe, who were married recently in Salt Lake, spent their honeymoon honey-moon in Uinta canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Allred and children have moved from Al-terra Al-terra and will visit for a few weeks in Ogden before deciding on a permanent location. Noble Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs, L. E. Clark, in now employed em-ployed in the personnel department depart-ment at Pearl Harbor. Mrs. Richard Hatch left xe-' cently to visit her folks, at Minneapolis. Min-neapolis. Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham and Afton and Frank have moved into the home they purchased pur-chased recently from Dec All-red. All-red. Several from this vicinity attended at-tended funeral services last week at Whiterocks for Mrs. Delia Taylor. The Taylors were former form-er Ballard residents. , Mrs. Jesse Birtchcr has been on the sick list for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Broder-ick, Broder-ick, of Salt Lake, visited over the weekend with the Farrell Rasmussens. The Sunday school officers and teachers held their monthly faculty meeting Wednesday evening eve-ning at the Raymond Eldredge home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham of Neola, visited the Charles Binghams, Saturday, Miss Louise Bellon, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon, has returned re-turned to her work in San Francisco. |
