UTAH $ 7us - 71 - lUai For some reason, this week it seems hard for me to find much of interest to talk about. This is practically the night before Christmas and all liuough the house. . . and stuff and all of us are looking forward to that one event. It would sure be nice if we could always retain the enjoyment en-joyment and anticipation we all felt as children at the advent of Santa Claus. i Maybe though, it is even nicer that we can bring that happiness to others. It's a swell time of the year, and though we sometimes say, "I'll be glad when it's over" ' we know in our hearts we love it. Our city council has worked I long and late getting budgets and books set-up for the incoming incom-ing members. The new members of the council will have ah opportunity op-portunity of rolling up their respective re-spective sleeves and going to work right after the first of the year. Our town has made progress pro-gress in the past years and with a new and enthusiastic group of citizens we will continue to advance. ad-vance. Let's all give them our support when called upon to do so. All fall, certain items have been scarce and, of course, now that people are interested in taxes and Christmas I see these items are becoming available. I mention a few I saw yesterday in McLea's: Kelvinato.r refrigerators refriger-ators and deep freeze boxes, American and Shirley porcelain top all steel kitchen sink units. Toilets and wash basins are to be had at the moment, too. Maybe you are looking for some item of this sort and if you are, go to McLea's while they yet have them in slock. Adv. feilsen Jewelry j Co.
