Show RIPE WATERMELON FOR YULE DINNER ATLANTA, GA. A ripe watermelon, picked from the vine about the first of October and carefully tended in a darkened dark-ened cabinet at 74-dcgrees temperature, tem-perature, was recently forwarded forward-ed to Governor James L. McCon-aughy, McCon-aughy, of Connecticut, by plane. Frank Halloway grew the 30-pound 30-pound melon on his farm, wrapped wrap-ped it in a towel and turned it once a week in the cabinet.
