Forrest Stone, before entering college. Supt. and Mrs. Forrest R. Stone and daughter, , Dorothy, have returned from : a trip through the Northwest. C. E. Faulkner and Josephine LaRose have gone to Phoenix, Arizona on business for the Ag-, ency. I Mr. and Mrs. John Bluemill and family left today to make their home in Wyoming. 1 Miss Bernice Brown is the new Home Extension agent. She comes from the Stewart Indian School, Carson City, Nevada. The community was glad to hear Mr. E. B. Jermock, formerly former-ly of Fort Duchesne and now of Central Point, Oregon, is improved im-proved from a recent stroke. Richard Taylor is improving from a recent accident when a tree fell on him and injured his loot. Dan Freed, of Salt Lake City, was a visitor in Fort Duchesne Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Curtis, of Salt Lake City, spent last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Rex Curry. I Anita Harvey, clerk of the I Agency office, spent the week-lend week-lend in TridelL Mrs. Eva Miller and children land her aunt, Marie Victor, re- turned from Oregon last week, School started at the Fort Monday with Mrs. Gutzman, Miss Richards, Mrs. Burgess and Mrs. Chivers teachers. Mr. and Mrs. Connor, Dr. and Mrs. Piper and Mrs. C. E. Faulkner Faulk-ner and children spent Sunday fishing' at Uinta Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Sixkeller are the parents of a new baby boy. A shower was held at the Clarence Harris residence for I Mrs. K. C. LaRose. Many useful use-ful and beautiful gifts were received. re-ceived. Miss Clara Huffman and William Wil-liam Sutters, of the Medical staff, returned from Phoenix, where they took Darlene Redcap to the sanitarium. ' Miss Agnes Parker, nurse aide, spent last weekend in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lon Logan are in Durengo, Colorado visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Iorg were in town Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harris, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Denver have gone to Fort Washakie, Wyoming Wyom-ing to bring Mrs. Denver's mother, moth-er, Mary Harris, home. Mrs. Harris Har-ris has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Harris for the past month. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Killian, of Roosevelt, were visitors in town Saturday. S. D. Herron, former owner of the Fort Duchesne store, had the misfortune to fall and hurt his leg. He is improved at this writing. Eva Haas, Bernice Brown and Edna Angus, employees of the Agency, returned from a trip through Yellowstone Park and other points in Wyoming. |
