Show f Class Schedules Announced For New School Year Registration at Roosevelt high school will start Monday, September Sep-tember 9, at 9 a. m., announced Principal J. R. Gillespie today. Students will be required to enroll en-roll for six classes daily and in order to get the best choice of classes it is important that each enrolle complete registration on Monday, Mr. Gillepie advised. The hot lunch program which will cost students 10 cents a meal will start on registration day, September 9. Studentbody activity fees for the year which must be paid on Monday will be for the eighth grade, $2; for high school, $3. STATE REQUIREMENTS for graduation is set at 16 units of approved high school work and includes 3 units of Social Science, 3 units of Exact Science and Mathematics, 3 units of English, 1 unit of Biological Science and 3 .years of Physical Education. . This schedule leaves 4.5 units for elective subjects, As pointed out by Mr. Gillespie, most students stu-dents have found it practical to enroll for more than the 4.5 required re-quired electives. . .
