Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gomm have moved to the home formerly occupied oc-cupied by Elmer Woodward. Mr. .Gomm is the principal of the Neola school and Mrs. Gomm is teaching in Roosevelt. Several Neola families have heeded the call of Yellowstone Park and have enjoyed a trip there recently. Mr. and Mrs. El-den El-den Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald Ecklund, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Oberhansley, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. James O. Peterson have been there during the past few weeks. Mrs. Royal Horrocks and children spent a few days in Price with her father. Dorothy and Allan Dalton, of Provo, are visiting here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mnnt Arhnrlrlo Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner and three sons visited in Morgan last week with Mr. and Mrs. Vest, former Neola residents. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Glines and children, of Vernal, snont a few days here with Mr. GUnns nar. ents. Mr and Mrs. W. E. Glines. Mrs. Leora Peterson was a vernaL visitor last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan returned re-turned home last week from a trip through Northern California. Califor-nia. Enroute they visited in Pittsburg Pitts-burg with Mr. and Mrs. Rov Mecham and Mr. and Mrs. Reid Peterson. Mrs. Mecham, Mr. Peterson and Mrs. Duncan are brother and sisters. A wedding dance was held in 1 the Neloa gym Friday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ol-sen. Ol-sen. Ivan Bastain has opened a store in Neola near his residence. Darrell Glines. of Ogden. visited vis-ited in Neola last week with relatives rel-atives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner entertained en-tertained Saturday evening with a family dinner in honor of their children before their departure to pursue ther various educational education-al and vocational activities. Audrey Au-drey left Sunday for Salt Lake City where she plans to take a business course: Dahl left Sunday Sun-day to attend Weber College at Ogden; and Elden has returned to his work at the sawmill above Kamas, Mr. and Mrs. Iliff Gardner Gard-ner were also present to wish their brothers and sister well. Royal Horrocks has accepted the position as bus driver to cov-r cov-r the Hayden-Bennett territory to the Ballard school. Mrs. Horrocks Hor-rocks is teaching the first and second grades at Ballard. Roger Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, is visiiting his children in Neloa for a few days. Mrs. E. L. Wemmer and daughter, daugh-ter, Mable, were in Roosevelt Thursday on business. |
