Show SSS5XXSX?s BLUEBELL Mrs. Batchlor and sons, Jayj and Don, and daughter, Jerry, of Waterloo, Iowa, arrived last week to visit her daughter, Dora Jean, who is staying at the Wathen home. They also spent part of the week visiting friends and relatives in Provo and Heb-er. Heb-er. They were accompanied by Victor Wathen. Mr .and Mrs. Fred McClean and children, of Vernal, visited Saturday with Mrs. Lucille Winkler. Mrs. McClean and Mrs. Winkler are cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Powell and, Mr. and Mrs. Withers, of Mid-vale, Mid-vale, visited on Friday with James W. Powell. Mrs. Lois Goodrich and children chil-dren went to Salt Lake City last week to visit relatives and to attend at-tend the graduation of her sister. Miss Ruth Benson, who received her cap as a graduate nurse. Mrs. Laura Seeley has been assisting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rogers of Mt. Emmons Em-mons in the care of their small daughter, who has polio. A wedding reception was held Friday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Goodrich. They received re-ceived many beautiful and useful use-ful gifts. Those attending from out of town were Bishop and Mrs. Lorin ' Stevenson, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Stevenson, and Mr. and Mrs. Brig Stevenson, of Mt. Home, Jack and Edith Cook, of Roosevelt, Deanne Case and Jay Bennion, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Gale and son, Arvin, of Lehi, visited a few days this week at the Bernard Ber-nard Winkler home. Mr. Gale and son also fished a few days at Swift Creek. Mrs. Wanda Hanson and two children, of Salt Lake City, are visiting with Wanda's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wathen. Miss Kay and Patty Ewell re-, turned to their home at Palmira, I Utah after spending the past two 'weeks here visiting their cousins lLaVern and Lucy Powell. Mrs. Zola Stevenson, Mrs. Ver-. ona Goodrich, and Mrs. Vola Horrocks are attending school at Duchesne this week. J Mrs. Wardell has returned to .'Bluebell to lend Mrs, Zola Stev-jenson's Stev-jenson's children while the latter l teaches school. Mrs. Wardell has spent the summer in California Califor-nia with another daughter. Mrs. Dora Burdich returned home Monday after attending school at Logan. The school was in connection with her cooking for the grade school. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Goodrich are the happy parents of a baby boy, born Tuesday night at the Roosevelt hospital. Evan is serving serv-ing in the Army at Okinawa. Joseph Jenkins is spending a two week vacation here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins. Jen-kins. Joseph is employed in California.
