alta thurber will leave sunday for los angeles from where they will sall sail june 12 on the S S lurline for honolulu they expect to spend nearly two weeks in and around honolulu and will visit in san teaching at ames college during the summer terp term but he and his wife will come to richfield in august to visit her parents mr air and mrs A J fillmore parker and winston fillmore and hughes hanchett went to salt lake to spend the fourth with james fillmore mr and mrs gene baker and family recently moved here from teasdale they are making their home on south and 1 ast 1st at west streets mrs david B haight and son bruce of salt lake are here for a two weeks visit at the home of mrs Haigh baights ts brother in law and sister mr and mrs leland A young billy asbury who recently moved with his parents to idaho falls had the two middle fingers of his right hand badly injured last week he and another little boy had just gone off the stage af after ter giving a tap number in a spring revue at idaho falls when one of the older boys accidentally shut a heavy steel door on billys hand band the skin was torn tom from the two fingers and they were nearly severed at the last joint A physician placed them in a cast but will not know for ten days or two weeks whether he can save them without amputating the fingers at the last joint dr and mrs L A poulson had as guests during the week mrs Poul sons brother in law and sister mr and mrs theo ralle raile and with them spent sunday at fish lake mr and mrs ralle raile left monday and will visit relatives in provo and salt lake before returning to their home in whittier cr california mr and mrs karl horne home of van nu nuys ys california were here last week visiting mr hornes homes parents mr and mrs joseph S horne home
