| Show relief society of first ward honors president mrs T A hunt president of 0 the first ward relief society was the honor guest at a surprise party given by the relief society at her home thursday afternoon nearly 80 members of the ward organization and mrs E W poulson mrs F H gunn mrs jas M peterson and mrs H J hansen of the stake board participated in the delightful affair arrangements for the party were in charge of mrs oluf anderson supervisor of the sunshine committee and her committee members mrs andrew christensen mrs alfred jensen mrs C P black mrs chris bertelsen and mrs john gurr the crowd gathered on the lawn at the hunt home where games stunts and an extemporaneous program were directed by mrs melroy nelson mrs wilford ashby and mrs emily hiesdorff Gies dorff included clouded in the program were talks by the stake president mrs poulson who gave unstinted praise to the reliability and eff efficiency with which mrs hunt conducts her work by mrs hunts counselor mrs hancock and by the honored guest herself who graciously responded to the tribute paid her by the organization A light lunch was served mrs hunt was presented a quilt made by the relief society teachers each block being embroidered in an original origin al design and bearing the teachers name on the center block besides the design were the names of mrs hunt her counselors and secretary an autograph album containing autographs of all the ladles ladies attending was also presented mrs hunt |
