| Show committees OF FIREMEN MAP PLAN FOR convention al arrangements being madeford made for entertainment of visiting ladies A series of committee meetings have been held during the past week and will continue this week to arrange details of the utah state Fir emens association convention here august 2 3 and 4 wives of members of the city council and fire department met in the city offices tuesday at 8 p m with mayor W L warner who is serving as general chairman of the convention committee to arrange for entertainment oi of the women attending the meet plans are to include entertainment and recreation for the women from the time they arrive in richfield until the time they leave several scenic trips are being planned and consideration is being given to the organization of a ladles ladies auxiliary said mayor warner frank gammon chairman of the housing committee reports for his committee that tourist cabins and hotel rooms have been reserved for the visiting delegates and the members are now enlisting accommodations in private homes he says no trouble will be had in taking care of the visitors expected the advertising and dance committee of ray E carr chairman joseph J fuellenbach H H petersen W B pace clarence smith and A 11 maughan is preparing a convention souvenir program which will soon be ready for the press arrangements have been completed for the richfield band mothers club to put on the banquet the second evening of the three day meet it will be held in the national guard armory |
