Show Boy Scouts Will Camp Next Week Boy Scouts of North Sanpete and Moroni Stakes of the Bryce Canyon Council B. S. A. will hold their annual an-nual outing next week at Hog Flat, in the mountains east of the city. One hundred twenty-five scouts will leave this city early Monday morning July 29 under supervision of Scout Executive William G. Barton of Ephraim, Eph-raim, district Scout commissioner, Calvin Christensen, Seymour Jensen of the district camping committee, H. C. Jacobs and Darrell Rasmussen of the Court of Honor, President S. M. Nielsom troop scout masters and a number of fathers. Alex Nielson of Manti will conduct classes in leather and handicraft; Lee Allrcd of Spring City will have charge of nature study and . George Barton of Ephraim is to be morale officer, conducting con-ducting cheers, singing and morale activities. Troops from Mt. Pleasant, Fairview, Spring City, Chester, Moroni and Fountain Green will be represented. Swimming will bo an every day feature a-j well as definite programs and hikes Monday evening will be Indian night; one evening will be given to stunts from the various troops Thursday, the concluding day of the outing will be devoted to a Jamboree program consisting of contests in Scout activities of all sorts. The evening proaram for the same day will be Court of Honor when awards will be made in connection with speeches demonstrations and music. The party wil return home Friday, August 2nd. |
