' ' .: t v ' - jI'V" ,0v IP t, i. rf Y -V. - MARY WIGGINS Uuique Attraction For Black Hawk Announcement that Mary Wiggins, described as the most youthful, beautiful beau-tiful and accomplished high diver and stunt woman of the swimming world, has been signed to appear in the annual an-nual Black Hawk Encampment, opening op-ening August 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th, at Mt. Pleasant, Utah, has just been made by the committee in charge of the affaii. Miss Wiggins, originally of Tampa, Florida, where she won numerous honors as an amatuer swimmer, of late has been one of the most sought-after sought-after doubles in the movie colony of Hollywood, California. Among the stunts she has carried out as a double for film stars are jumps off cliffs, motorcycle mo-torcycle spills, dives off ships at sea, etc. Three years ago she made her debut de-but as a professional performer, appearing ap-pearing in the Shrine Circus in Honolulu. Hon-olulu. Che had been engaged by the Shrine authorities to do a 50-foot dive. After the first day of the show, the male diver doing the 86 foot fire dive became ill. Miss Wiggins volunteered volun-teered to take his place, and in her iniatial appearance, she was so loudly acclaimed, she was given the assignment assign-ment permanently. Ever since that time the fire dive has been her specialty.
