Show A. 0. Madsen Passes Away Andrew O. Madsen, prominent farmer farm-er and business man of, this city, died at the family residence Friday evening eve-ning of heart failure. He had been in poor health the past three years, death came very suddenly, however, and was a severe shock to his relatives rela-tives and friends. Mr. Madsen was born in this city April 30, 1870, son of sturdy pioneer parents, Mads and Ellen Madsen. He was married March 17, 1897 to Rozena Fechser, daughter of John and Ida Fechser. He performed a mission of twenty-seven twenty-seven months for the L. D. S. church to the Southern States, 1899-1901. He served as Sunday School and Y. M. M. I. A. superintendent, ward teacher and was at the time of his death a member of the High Priests quorum. He has served as a City Councilman and for six years engaged in the Meat and Grocery business. Surviving are his widow and the following children: Mrs. Alta Balle, Payson; Evan A. Madsen, St. Johns, Arizona; Jessie, Marjorie, Viola, and Howard Madsen, all of this city; three grand children and three brothers, Hans Madsen, Fairview; Hyrum and Chris T. Madsen, Mt. Pleasant. Bishop Henry P. Olson conducted impressive funeral services at the North ward chapel, Thursday at 2 p. m. for Andrew O. Madsen. Music was. by the choir, vocal duet George Squire and Mrs. R. D. Jones, vnral solo Mrs. Clavton Sorenson, with violin obligato, Elson Jones; solo, Ray D. Nichols, American Fork; solo. Vern Reese, Wales. President Daniel Rasmussen and Asa F. Reynolds offered prayers. Speakers, all of whom spoke of the fine characteristics and sterling qualities qual-ities of the deceased were Mrs. Obed Nleson, A. H. Anderson, and Bishop Olson. L. C. Rasmussen dedicated the flower covered grave. The pall bearers were C. T. Madsen, Mad-sen, Hyrum Madsen, Wm. L. Madsen, Mad-sen, Fred C. Fechser, James F.
