Show Pioneers Will Celebrate Mar. 2 i I The annual celebration to be lield I next Friday March 2nd, in honor of j l.he pioneers of Mt. Pleasant, is being planned out in detail and all com-hiiittees com-hiiittees report splendid progress, in their work. ' The celebration is arranged by the Mt. Pleasant Historical Association and will consist of a good program which is being arranged including an address to tile pioneers, music, a historical j sketch and songs. There are more than ninety names ! of people over 70 years who are decen-'lants decen-'lants of Pioneers in Mount Pleasant. i R. W. Candland, chairman of the decoration committee, reports that a few pioneers whose families do not live here any longer should be represented by photos in the decorations. Anyone knowing where to get these photos will greatly assist by reporting to ; the committee. There should be about 1175 photos on exhibition on that date. j The committees in charge of the celebration feel that a most pleasant enjoyable time will be had by all who .attend. j The program will lie at the North I ward chapel and a dance will be given I at Armory Hall in the evening. |
