The splendid beet crop, the cauliflower, cabbage, hay and grain, are proving prov-ing a big asset to your citizens, and with the payment for the beets, there is going to be a relief from a financial standpoint. This was the expressicn of R. C. Wilson, Wil-son, vice-president of the First National bank of Salt Lake City, and widely known throughout Utah financial circles. Mr. Wilson came down from the North Saturday and was the guest of Ira Overfelt, cashier for the G111111iS011 bank, for the day. Accompanied by Mr. Overfelt, Mr. Wilson was taken tak-en to the west side to the Japanese Japan-ese colony, where the cabbage and cauliflower industry was inspected. Mr. Wilson, vice-president of the state bankers association, with Mr. Overfelt, attended the regular meeting of the Southern Utah Bankers' association, held at Monroe Mon-roe Saturday evening. Mr. Overfelt presided at the meeting, and he introduced Mr. Wilson as the principal speaker, who dwelt at length on state banking legislation. Other speakers were Fred son of of Ephraini; H. Roland Tiet. jen, Monroe, who spoke on "Live. stock Feeding;" James M. Peterson of Richfield, speaking on "Signs of Economic Recovery."
