Mrs. Hac.'y Thompson ana children of Ephraim spent the week end here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Sor-ensen. Sor-ensen. Mr. and Mrs. Vert Barney and children of Delta visited the fore part of the week with Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Mortensen and other oth-er relatives here Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter cf Hinckley have been visiting at tf.e heme of her sister, Mrs. Evelyn Christensen. Lawrence Olsen and family have returned from Murray where they have been living for the past three years. I. L. Brough, the city barber who was taken to Salt Lake for medical aid last week, has been removed from the hospital and is on his way to Tacoma, Washington Washing-ton where he will receive special treatment. Mr. Brough was suffering suffer-ing from a poisened goiter and other complications. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Coon and daughter, Maurme, of the Cocn Chicken Inn at Salt Lake and Mr. William Fairburn and family of Salt Lake are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Easton Kelsey. They came to hunt deer. Nephi Proops and family of Midway are visiting with Mrs. Simon Si-mon T. Beck this week. Mr. Harold Olsen and family of Gunnison and Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Jackson and family of Ephraim visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs Lorenzo Larsen. Mr. Ross Allred and family of Eureka were Spring City visitors Sunday. Mr. Roy Lightsoll, Lloyd Keyws and Miss Delia Rasmussen of Salt Lake City visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rasmussen Mr. and Mrs. William Puzey of Magna visited relatives here this week. Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson Rob-inson and Mrs. Lydia Puzey who have been visiting in Salt Lake City, accompanied them home. Miss Lorraine Larsen of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of Mr and Mrs. Daniel Jensen Jen-sen and other relatives. A Democratic rally was held in the Victory hall Thursday evening. Henry H. Blood and other candidates candi-dates were the speakers. All Republican candidates of the state will torn- Sanpete countv Monday, October 24th. They will be in Spring City from 1:30 p. m to 2:10 p. m. Boyd Allred returned home Wednesday Wed-nesday from working for the Livestock Company. A number of local people answered an-swered the call of Mayor William Lee Allred and cleaned up their lots in the cemetery. The city cleaned the walks and driveways. Mrs. Christine Strate was hostess host-ess to the members of the Aletha club at her home Friday afternoon. Many out of town people have come here to hunt deer. James W. Blain brought in a deer Thursday morning. He is the first local man to be lucky enough to get one. |
