Show j MORONI 1 ! By Special Correspondence , Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson of Garfield Gar-field are visiting relatives and friends in Moroni. Mrs. Cleon Anderson was called to Los Angeles one day last week on account of the serious illness of her neice. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Anderson of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bingham of Salt Lake City spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno. Mr. Arthur Storey of Shelley, Idaho visited the fore part of last week with his father, William Storey, who is very ill at the family fam-ily residence. Joseph Bailey was operated on for ulcers of the stomach at the Dice hospital last Thursday. He is improving slowly. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Hall of Santaquin visited in Moroni Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday. Mrs. Clarence Oakie of Nephi is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Urvin Gee. Dorlene, the four year ' old daughter of Randal Storey, was hurt badly Sunday afternoon. They were out on the farm and the child was playing with a snap fastened to a door. It appeared she had the snap in her mouth and fell down cutting her cheek and lip zig zag. Dr. Dice was the attending physician and forty stitches were taken. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Storey adopted the little girl three years ago when her mothei died. Gorden Larsen, Marlen Cloward, Wallace CahoonTLorenzo Draper, Sib Christensen, James Jacobson, Perry Olsen, Marvin Anderson and Marion Jolley have gone to Gunnison Gun-nison to work in the sugar factory during this year's campaign. Miss Elva Eliason has returned home from Los Angeles, California. Some of the boys that went to Idaho to pick potatoes have come home and report that there were plenty of spuds but not so much dough. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Anderson took their 3 year old daughter to Salt Lake last week for medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Louritzen, Mrs. Mozart Larsen and Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Lamb were among the Salt Lake visitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reinsamer and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde tiiller of Salt Lake City are visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Moroni. The deer hunters are in their glory now. About fifty men have gone hunting from Moroni. Miss Maxine Anderson has returned re-turned home from Lehi where she has been visiting with relatives. |
