Show Warning To all Chiefs of police, prosecuting attorneys and sheriffs of the state of Utah and to the public generally: The public is warned that neither the American Automobile Association or its affiliated club in this state, namely the Utah State Automobile Association, is putting on any special drive for membership, nor selling two year memberships, nor offering insurance insur-ance of any sort at any cut or reduced rate. The public is further warned that neither of said Clubs employ anyone operating under a California license in this State as a salesman of memberships mem-berships and that the annual iniation fee and dues have not been reduced from $13. Should persons claiming to represent repre-sent the American Automobile Association Associ-ation or any association with a name quite similar appear in your locality and make any representation concerning concern-ing connection with the American Automobile Association or the Utah State Automobile Association, or any insurance service available to its members, mem-bers, or represent that any of said clubs are putting on a special drive at reduced rates for membership in this state, or selling two year memberships or furnishing insurance at less, than the regular rates covering all forms :of automobile casualty insurance, such persons will have no connection with either the American Automobile Association Associ-ation or the Utah State Automobile Association. This bulletin is occasioned by repeated re-peated and daily reports and complaints com-plaints to this office concerning the activities of alleged representatives of alleged automobile clubs who appear to be very active throughout the state at this time, for personal profit. The plan of the American Automobile Automo-bile Association and its affiliated clubs, of which the Utah State Automobile Association is one of 1063, , is strictly cooperative and non-profit.' It uses no "high-powered" methods of salesmanship sales-manship to obtain members, makes no special drives and operates solely in the interests of members and the public generally to the end that the motoring interests of its members and the public generally may be best conserved con-served or promoted. The management of this Association is under the personal supervision of a board of directors, elected by the members. mem-bers. The organization is operated on a non-profit basis and its finances and accounts are audited monthly by Has-kins Has-kins and Sells, a firm of certified public pub-lic accountants of Salt Lake City. Their report is submitted to the board of directors each month and is then kept on file in the office of the Association, Asso-ciation, where it is always open for inspection by any member. R. M.
