Show Old People' of Spring City Are Well Entertained The annual Old Folk's Party held Thursday, January 31, at the Vlcta-v Theatre was a pronounced success. Invitations were Issued to all over sixty years of age in the ward to be tht special guests of the Old Folks Committee. Com-mittee. Dinner was served at twelve, noon, to one hundred ninety-seven people. Following the dinner Bishop James F. Ellis, Chairman of the committee made a speech of welcome. Following the address of the Bishop, a program consisting of the following numbers was rendered: Dutch costume dance Genie! Baxter Bax-ter and Elva Anderson. Talk President Soren M. Nielson. V Duet Jessie Schofield and Ernest Terry. Mrs. Caroline Brough's reneditlor. of "An Old Maid's Prayer," followed next and brought forth much applause. Reading Miss Helen Watson. Mr. Henry L. Accord, Sr. told of the first Old Folk's party held in Spring City, said that he and Bishop Samuel Allred were members of the first committee com-mittee and had served continuous!" fcr thirty-eight years. The North Sanpete High School rohestra led by DirecSc- Henry Terry, furnished several splend'd selections. Following thii program a free picture how was enjoyed.
