Show LOUIS W. LUND PASSES AWAY AT SALT LAKE CITY Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Madsen and Ernest McArthur went to Pleasant Grove Tuesday to attend the funeral services for Louis W. Lund, 64, of 1366 Perry Avenue, who died Saurday at a Salt Lake hospital of empyema. The services were held at 1 p. m. In the Timpanogas stake tabernacle of the L. D. S. church at Pleasant Grove. Mr. Lund was born in Spring City, Sanpete County, August 3, 1865, the son of Louis P. and Emmeline Allred Lund. The family moved to Pleasant Grove where Mr. Lund spent most of his life, and was prominently Known as a business man and importer of blooded blood-ed horses. He attended both Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University and the University Uni-versity of Utah and was at one time mayor of Pleasant Grove. From 1895 to 1897 he served as L. D. S. missionary to the southern states spending most if his time in Florida. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lydia Brown Lund, and the following children: Mrs. Cleone Lund Kirk of Pleasani Grove and Martell W. Lund, Mrs. Emmeline Lund Judd and Le Grand Lund, all of Los Angeles. |
