Show Mrs. E. G. Brunger was hostess to the Home Culture Club Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. A delightful 1 Thanksgiving program was carried out under the direction di-rection of Miss Sadie I. Raw and Mrs. Millie M. Berkhimer. The club sang Thanksgiving songs. A group of primitive Americans in gala costumes furnished Indian music, reading, Miss Ruth Schemp; "The First Thanksgiving," Thanksgiv-ing," Miss Sadie I. Raw; "Printer's Pie," the Thanksgiving dinner menu. Mrs. Berkhimer; games, stunts lad clever contests followed, after which the hostess served a delicious luncheon. Mrs. J. A. Poncel, Mrs. Geo. Smith-peter, Smith-peter, Mrs. E. W. Wall, Mrs.. C. A: Hone, Miss Schemp and the Indians were special guests. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. J. P. Meyrick. Mrs. C. A. Hone and Mrs. Tl. 'v. Ericksen. A ward testimonial will be held m the North ward chapel Sunday evening November 23, honoring Asa F. Reynolds, Rey-nolds, who will leave in the near future fu-ture for a six months mission. Mrs. Susie Corfield, Mrs. J. W. Mc-Gann Mc-Gann and Leland McGann of Salt Lake visited Mt. Pleasant friends Monday Mon-day and Tuesday. Announcement is made of the marriage mar-riage of Mrs. Laura Rosenlof to Leo Dahls of Washington, D. C. |
