Show Clinics Held Immunization clinics for smallpox small-pox and diptheria for pre-schooi and school children have been held in all communities of the North Sanpete school district the past week, through the united efforts of the school nurse, Mrs. Victoria B. Christensen, and the local health center. Mrs. Christensen announces that last year an immunization survey was made in all the schools of the district when it was found that the percentage of immunization varied from one and one half to 68 per cent for smallpox and from 35 to 66 per cent for diptheria Since then 925 immunizations have, been made in the district, for typhoid, diptheria and smallpox and the work is not yet completed. This work is provided through the Shepherd-Towner Bill, for pre-schol pre-schol and school children. |
