Show Snow College Registration Will Be On Sept. 10 and 11 Snow College opens its fortieth year on Sept. 10. All students should register re-gister on these days as full department work commerces on the 12th. Everything Every-thing is being placed in readiness for the biggest registration in the history of the instution. The faculty has been enlarged tc take care of the increased enrollment: by the return of Miss Helen A. Nelson who has been on leave of absence at Northwestern University by the employment em-ployment of Miss Eva M. Hansen in the Educational department and of R. Lee Kenner in Agriculture. Miss Magleby has been granted a year's leave of absence to recuperate from her recent illness and her position will be filled by Mrs. Nadine Foutz- Simmons Sim-mons of Ogden, a teacher of long experience. ex-perience. ' Extensive alterations are being nade in enlarging the library accomodations accomo-dations for the coming year. The aud itorium will also be enhanced by the installation of a new curtain, the gift in part of the graduating class of 1928. President Knudsen reports that students stu-dents have signified their intention of attending Snow from Idaho, Nevada and all of our surrounding counties, He predicts an enrollment of over 250 students for this coming year. Two busses will operate from the south end of the county to the college this winter This transportation is . proving very popular for students and parents. Arrangements Ar-rangements are now being made for bus transportation of students from Fairview. Mt. Pleasant and Spring City to the College by President S. M. Nielson and should prove very attractive attrac-tive for all concerned. |
