Show 2 Babby Boys Burned to Death In a Barn Fire Two baby boys, Patsy Comeron age 4 and Teddie Cameron, age 2, were burned to death late Sunday afternoon in a fire which burned a barn at the family home near the mill on upper Main Street in this city. As nearly as can be surmised, the two little boys were playing with their rabbits in the frame building used partly as a family stcre house, and containing a ton of hay which had been placed there three or four days before. Neighbors saw smoke issuing from the barn at 5:45 o'clock and turned in a fire alarm. As soon as she learned of the blaze, Mrs. Comeron, the mother became anxious about her babies, Neighbors however, reassured her with the information that the youngsters had been a short time before on the street a short distance from the home. The work of fighting the fire was delayed because the home is near the waterworks plant and water pressure was low. When the babies were not found the mother's anxiety was renewed. Search was made of the burned building as soon as possible after the fire, and the badly schorched bodies of the little ones were found huddled together near . the door of the barn. Both were so badly burned as to be unrecognizable the younger apparently having suffered suffer-ed most severely. The fire-fighters said the blaze had been worst near the door of the barn where the bodies were found. Whether the babies had been trapped by the slamming of the door or were overcome by smoke from the burning hay can only be surmised. Neither is the cause of the fire known. The suggestion is that the babies may have found some matches to play with. It was perhaps an hour and one-half after the fire alarm was given before the bodies were found. The property loss is estimated at $5U0. The children were sons of Patrick and Mrs. Elvira Monsen Cameron. In addition to the parents, two brothers and three sisters are living: Kathryn, Virginia.
