Show f I I FAIRVIEW I . ' Mr. Glen B. Miner, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. U. Miner, is spending a few days visiting friends and relatives in Fairview. Mr. Miner spent the past year teaching at the University of Illinois, Ill-inois, During the summer vacation he has been working in southeastern Pennsylvania, Pen-nsylvania, and before returning to Utah made a tour of interesting places in the east and mid-west. At the beginning of the coming year, he is to take up a position teaching at the Latter-Day Saints' College in Salt Lake City. The Democratic Primary was held in the Public School building Saturday evening August 18. Chairman Aaron Cheney presided, and the following d-legates d-legates were selected to attend the State and Congressional conventions at Logan Aug. 24, and 25: Mrs. E. A. Allred, Miss Cleon Lassen, Mrs. Lucita Cheney, Mrs. India Peterson, Randall Turpin and Peter Sundwall. Mr and Mrs. David Sanderson and family of Hinckley visited in Fairview Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday they left for Burnt Fork, Wyoming. Mrs. Ellis Coombs accompanied them. Mrs Lester Zimmerman and daugh-er daugh-er of Lehi are visiting at the hom? of Mrs. Sarah Allred. Bishop and Mrs. George Stewart an-naunce an-naunce the birth of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Jensen announce an-nounce the birth of a baby girl. Mrs Verona Shank who attended summer school at Logan is visiting, Fairview relatives this week. |
