Show I FOUNTAIN GREEN ! By Special Correspondence A shower in honor of Miss Vera Bills was given at the home of Mrs. Delbert Christiansen Thursday night September 19th. Evelyn Augason, Norma Mikkelson and Eva Madsen assisted the hostess. A delightful lap lunch was served to forty-five guests. Randall Christiansen sang several songs. Readings , were given by Mrs. Harley Myers of Ephraim. The evening was spent in games. Many nice gifts were given to the honor hon-or guest. Mrs. Lottie Bills entertained at n dinner Friday for twelve guests, honoring hon-oring Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reid. The guests included the immediate family and the Misses Evelyn Augason, Norma Mikkelson and Eva Madsen. Mrs. Carl Anderson is spending a few days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wilson at Nephi. Mrs. Sam Samuels has returned from a two weeks visit at Long Beacn California. Mrs. Ada C. Anderson ana Mrs. Jimmie Andersen entertained at a birthday party for the members ol the Elite club and their husbands at the Big Springs. A delicious chicken supper was served and an enjoyaoie evening was spent. Mrs. Thora Robertson announc e the marriage of her daughter Erda tc Giles Vance, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Vance of Fairview. The marriage mar-riage took place September 25th in the Manti Temple. Mrs. Neldon Youn-r, Mrs. Ernest Robertson, and Miss Norma Robertson Robert-son entertained last Monday evening u,t a kitchen shower and bridge party m honor of Miss Erda Robertson, a September bride. Covers were laid for twenty-five guests. Many beautiful beau-tiful gifts were received. Miss Relia Mikkelson left last weeK for Loa, Wayne County, where she will teach school. Mrs. Arthur . Edler was hostess to the members of the Elite Club at her home Saturday afternoon. An elaborate elab-orate chicken dinner was served. Delpha Allred returned to Salt Lake City Thursday. Miss Eva Llewellyn is spending a week at , Bingham Canyon and 1 Salt Lake City. Mrs. Chris Otteson has returned from Huntington and will spend the winter here. Geneva Crowther has returned from Nephi, where she has spent the summer. |
