Mrs. Lorenzo Peterson visited at Garfield the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Mart Peterson of Monroe were Fairview visitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Bell and Miss Hazel Bell of Standardville were guests of Ray Mower this week. . Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tucker went to Ogden Tuesday to attend the 'funeral of Jesse Mower's baby. Mrs. Caroline Madsen and Mrs. El-'len El-'len Nordstrom went to Helper Sunday Sun-day to visit with Mrs.- Ernest Terry. Mrs. James Carlston and children of Murray are visiting with relatives in Fairview this week. Mrs. Henry Poulsen of Richfield is the guest at the home of Mrs. . James C. Peterson. Ellas Brady and family left Monday Mon-day for the reservation, where they go to make their home. Mrs. Jesse Turpin, who spent the last six weeks at Garfield with her daughter, returned home Sunday. Mrs. S. A. Carter left Friday for Evanston, Wyoming, to visit her mother. Miss Ethel Stewart attended the M. I. A. qbnvention at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Sarah Ann Householder of 'Salt Lake is spending the summer 'with relatives in Fairview. Mrs. Lizzie Lasson has gone to Logan to visit with her brother, Will-lam Will-lam Young. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ericksen are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a baby boy this week. They are guests at the home of Mrs. Ericksen's mother, Mrs. Peter Anderson. ' Henry Bohns, after two months spent in visiting with relatives in Sanpete and Emery counties, left for Idaho, where he expects to visit with two of his children a week or ten days, and then return to his home in Canada. A very pleasing entertainment was given by the Primary Association 'Wednesday evening in the form of a cantata composed and arranged, both w ords and music, by Mrs. Carl Sund. ! wall. The name given to the cantata can-tata was Effie in Fairy Land. More than forty children took part in it. Orabelle Hansen took the leading part. It was well received by a large and appreciative audience. |
