Edwards has been called to serve as a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Louisville, Kentucky Ken-tucky Mission. HIS FAREWELL will be July 31 at the Bountiful 37th Ward; open house Saturday. July 30 from 7-9. Chapel, 650 N. Rowland Way, Centerville. An informal reception re-ception will be held in the bowery bow-ery east of the parking lot following fol-lowing the services. Ben took early retirement after serving 30 years with the Salt Lake City School District. They will enter the MTC on Aug. 3. i i ' I i I I ; . ELDER MARSH Elder Curtis G. Marsh will return from the Connecticut Hartford Mission on July 29 at noon. HE IS the son of Gary B. and Beverlee Marsh. He will report his mission on July 3 1 at 9 a.m. in the Orchard 7th Ward, 3599 Orchard Drive. .y, - j ELDER WENDEL Elder Joel Kay Wendel, son of Allen and Eileen Wendel, has been called to serve in the Bahia Blanca, Argentina Mission. Mis-sion. HIS FAREWELL was held in the Bountiful 2nd Ward on June 26. He entered the MTC on July 14. Joel is a graduate of Bountiful Bounti-ful High School, and prior to his mission call took training in the Army Reserve where he is now Private First Class. CATHERINE BINGHAM Catherine Bingham, daughter daugh-ter of Joseph B. and Helen D. Bingham has been called to the Paraguay Asuncion Mission. She entered the Mission Training Train-ing Center on July 21. CATHERINE is a graduate of Woods Cross High School where she was active on the swim team. She has attended Weber State College and the University of Utah, and has been employed at the University Univer-sity of Utah Medical Center and the Lion House. Her farewell was held in the Val Verda 6th Ward Chapel at 2500 S. Davis Blvd. on July 10. Friends and relatives attended an open house at her home that evening. - A 1 f, i ELDER O'BRIEN Fllder Scott C. O'Brien, son of Donald and Charleen O'Brien, has accepted a call to serve in the California Arcadia mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will enter the MTC on Aug. 25. SCOTT graduated from Bountiful High School in 1980 where he was active in sports as a manager. His farewell will be held on Sunday, July 3 1 at 1 p.m. in the Bountiful 23rd Ward, 2200 S. 600 E., Bountiful. AN OPEN house will be held at his home, 2116 S. Davis Blvd., Bountiful, on Saturday, July 30 6-8 p.m. ELDER GAINER Elder Philip Hahn Gainer, son of Estelle H. Gainer of Bountiful and Lloyd D. Gainer of Milford, Connecticut has accepted a mission call from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve in the Germany Munich Mission. He will enter the MTC on Aug. ' 4. ELDER GAINER graduated from Bountiful High School and LDS Seminary in May 1983. His farewell will be held at the Bountiful 21st Ward Chapel, 650 S. 200 E. Murdock, has been called to serve in the Brazil Curtiba Mission. He will enter the MTC on Aug. 11. MIKE IS a 1982 honor graduate gra-duate of Bountiful High School where he was active in debate and music and served as drum major his senior year. He has attended Weber State College and is studying pre-law and bolitical science. Mike just recently re-cently returned from Officer Candidates School with the United States Marine Corps, located in Quantico, Va. His farewell will be on July 31 at 9 a.m. at the Bountiful 17th Ward, 600 E. 2150 S. Jones has accepted a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in 'the Italy, Milano Mission where he worked in Milano, Monza, Moncalieri, Asti and Bologna. DANE WILL speak July 31 at 12 noon in the Bountiful 20th Ward, 102 E. 1400 S. Dane is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ray B. Jones. .ELDER NEUENSWANDER John B. Neuenswander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Val J. Neuenswander Neuens-wander of Bountiful has been called to serve 18 months in the Fresno California Mission. He will enter the MTC on Aug. 18. HIS FAREWELL will be held Sunday, Aug. 14 at the Mueller Park Stake Center. An open house will be held immediately im-mediately following at his home for family and friends. John graduated from Bountiful Boun-tiful High School in 1982 and has attended the University of Utah. ; 1 ELDER JACOBS Elder Bruce A. Jacobs has recently returned home from the Costa Rica, San Jose Mission Mis-sion for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HE WILL report his mission experiences July 31 at 1:50 p.m. at the Bountiful 7th Ward, 1250 S. Main Street. Bruce is the son of Alan and Marie Jacobs of Bountiful. 3 - ' - I t 1 K SHERRY MOULTRIE Sherry Moultrie, daughter of Dee and Arlene Moultrie, returned July 23 from the South Africa, Johannesburg mission after serving 18 months there. HIS FAREWELL will be July 31 at 1:30 p.m. in the Centerville Cen-terville 2nd Ward, 210 E. 1825 N. He will enter the MTC on Aug. 4. Todd is the son of Glen and Nancy Groll. He is a 1982 Viewmont High School graduate gradu-ate and has attended Utah. State University for the past year. He is an Eagle Scout and a recipient of the Duty to God award. FRIENDS and family are invited in-vited to attend an open house at his home following his farewell. CINDY JAMES Cindy James, daughter of Joleen M. James and Arlo A. James, has received and accepted a call to serve in the Peru, Arequipa Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HER FAREWELL will be July 31 at 5 p.m. in the Idaho Falls.
