Merz, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christensen and Mrs. Leander Thompson of Ephraim were guests at an elaborate dinner 1 Thursday given by Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rutishauser. i Mr. and Mrs. Ray Monsen, Miss I Goldie Neilsen, Prances Neilsen and ! Miss Cleona Donaldseu and Bert Bal-i Bal-i lard of Payson formed a jolly camping camp-ing party, spending aoout a week : fishing on Gooseberry. j Miss Mildred Ericksen of Salt Lake ! was the honored guest at a kensingtou kensing-tou and luncheon given Tuesday aft-! aft-! ernoon by Miss Beulah Andersen. I Other guests were Miss Melba Ald-'. Ald-'. rich, Miss Eva Simpson, Miss Gladys ' Ericksen and Miss Kate Ericksen. I Mrs. H. C. Beaumann entertained at dinner Sunday evening in honor of Miss Nettie Beaumann's nineteenth i birthday anniversary. Covers were placed for Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Beaumann, Beau-mann, A. B. Sawyer of Salt Lake, . Miss Deane Webb, Miss Nettie Beau-. Beau-. mann and Miss Thelma Beaumann. The Misses Crystal Jensen, Valera Renberg, Veneta Meyrick, Helen Nelson, Nel-son, Adele Meyrick, Adeline Brand, Ida Lovell, Mrs. H. Guy Wood, and Mrs. Marsch and Miss Martha M. Wood of Salt Lake motored to the Rainbow Fishery Thursday after, noon and enjoyed a plunge party. A picnic luncheton was Served at sundown. Miss Viola Whittaker, a bride of the coming week, was the complimented compli-mented guests at a luncheon given ; Friday afternoon by Miss Mary Peter-' Peter-' sen. The guests included the Misses Viola and Aileen Whittaker, Mrs. Elmer El-mer Johahsen, Miss Hilda Madsen, Mrs. George A. Petersen, the Misses Winifred, Frances and Carol Jensen, . Miss Elma Noland and Miss Caroline ' Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sims of Idaho Falls, Idaho, were the guests of honor at a dinner given Tuesday by Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Meyrick. Covers .were laid for ten. Mrs. Sims has a large circle of Mount Pleasant friends who will remember as Miss Vida Ny-,berg, Ny-,berg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ne-phi Ne-phi Nyberg, former Mount Pleasant residents but now living in St. Anthony, An-thony, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Sims are now on their honeymoon trip, having been married July 6 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mr. Sims has joined the U. i S. Army hospital corps and expects to ' leave during the next week for duty in France I |
