Show Bishop and Mrs. A. P. Spillsbury of Toquerville, Utah, with their little lit-tle daughter, Ila, and sons, Marlow, Arlington and LeGrande, motored to Mount Pleasant last Saturday and are visiting at the McArthur home with their brother, B'Urke McArthur. Bishop Spillsbury is a wealthy cattle-B'au cattle-B'au and banker of southern Utah. A wedding of unusual Interest took Place Monday when Miss Sophronia Madsen and Guy Candland surprised their friends by going to Manti. They were married at noon and left immediately imme-diately for a trip to California and the Pacific Northwest. Word is just received here that William Brandon, oldest son of Mr. anl Mrs. Wood Brandon of this city, enlisted in the U. S. Army at Idaho palls, Idaho. Judge Christensen will lecture up-on up-on American inventors at the South Ward Chapel next Sunday evening. |
