Show Plans Are Made For Pioneer Celebration At a meeting of the board of directors direc-tors of the Mt. Pleasant Pioneer Historical His-torical association, Mrs. Hans Nielsen Niel-sen and Mrs. Williard Frandsen were elected to act on the Relic committee and plans were discussed for the ninth annual celebration. Fifty-nine years ago the twentieth of next month the first pioneers of Mt. Pleasant pitched their camps here. The celebration held in honor of this event is the one eveuit of the year, and this ninth celebration will without a doubt surpass those of the past. Plans in part for the twentieth twen-tieth of March are as follows: Band serenade to Pioneers at noon; program pro-gram at 2 o'clock, and good old time dance in the evening, where old-fashioned old-fashioned refreshments will be served. The following named committees com-mittees will meet at .the City Hall March 5 at 7:30 o'clock for the purpose pur-pose of discussing their committee's work.
