Show Mrs. Mary C. Kump Responds To Final Call Funeral services were held Sunday at Chester assembly hall for Mrs. Mary Catherine Kump who died Thursday morning at her home, after a seven weeks illness caused by pleurisy pleur-isy and complications. Bishop W. L. Allred officiated. The speakers were Albert Thompson, Dan Anderson, Mrs. Eliza Hayward, ulrs. Olive Acord, Joseph F. Bagnall, A. J. Reea, Joe Jolly and Bishop Allred. Invocation Invo-cation was given by Joseph Bagnall and the benediction by Jabez Faux. Friends and relatives from neighboring neighbor-ing towns attended the services. Interment In-terment was made in the Moroni cemetery. Mrs. Mary C. Kump was born May 23, 1857 in Spanish Fork. The family fam-ily moved from there to Moroni where her childhood was spent. She married mar-ried Zacharlah Kump (a widower) and moved to Chester about 1875. She was left a widow twelve years ago. She was the mother of fifteen children and had the care of five children of her husband's first wife. She is survived by four brothers, Lewis Cloward of Chester, and Dell, Thomas and Joe Cloward of Idaho, and two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Story of Moroni and Mrs. Ella Draper of Chester. The children who survive her are Zackariah, Lewis, Jake, Parley, Lor-in, Lor-in, Lyle, Dean, Edna and Katie Kump and Mrs. Ella Coates, Mrs. Eliza Eli-za Nellson, Mrs. Louis Marx and Mrs. Susie Smith. Mrs. Mary C. Kump was always a faithful member of the Church of Latter Day Satntn and was loved and respected by all who k-new her. |
