Show Wales Lost Friday the sons and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Rees of Wales Utah, celebrated the birthday of their mother. Those present were: Dr. T. D. Rees and family of Nephi, Dr. D. C. Edmunds and family of Fairview, Dr. Byron Rees of Mt. Pleasant, Principal J. N. Dorius of Fountain Green, Dr. L. Rees and family of Ephraim. The day was spent in talking over family affairs, recalling childhood's happy days and ancient family traditions. tradi-tions. At three o'clock a good old time country feast was indulged in. Following the dinner the entire crowd took an auto ride out to the old farm with its memories and scenes of former days. The day ended by Mr. Rees coun-ciling coun-ciling liis family in these words: "Remeber that one of the greatest things in the world is to make friends but never forget that old friends are pften the best after all. Also remember remem-ber that there is no use in having relatives rel-atives unless they can help each other for in unity there is strength and blood runs thicker than water." Mrs. Rees was the recipient of some rather expensive presents, her daughters presenting her with two large paintings by the well known local painter, Mr. John Stansiield of Mt. Pleasant. Her sons and son in laws presenting her a large persian rug, and her husband presenting her an automobile. |
