Show Former Auto Co. Operator Dies At Chihuahua Clyde Brown, 54, former owner own-er and operator of the Clyde Brown Motor company at Mt. Pleasant, died at his home in Chihuahua, Mexico, Wednesday, June 15, according to word received re-ceived by friends here. Burial was in the El Paso Tex., military cemetery where Mr. Brown's son, Captain Clyde Glen Brown, killed in action in World War II, was buried two months ago. Mr. Brown was born in Col-: onia, Juarez, Mexico, in 1894, a son of Orson P. and Mattie Rom-ney Rom-ney Brown. He had been a mining foreman in Utah many years and was employed at Bingham, Park City, and Salt Lake. He moved his home to Mexico 20 years ago and in addition to his interest in the automobile company at Mt. Pleasant, owned a mine at Chihuahua. Survivors are his widow, Mabel Ellison Brown; a daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Bernice Cluff; four brothers and two sisters, Miles R and Anthony M. Brown, Mrs. Linwood Lidell and Mrs. Don Gardner, Salt Lake city; Orson J. Brown, Spanish Fork, and Dewey B. Brown, Tucson, Ariz. |
