Show F?irview Heart Victim Buried Monday Funeral services" for Elery Christensen, 59, Fairview resident resi-dent for the past eight years, who died Thursday in the Mt. Pleasant hospital of coronary thrombosis, were conducted Monday at 1 p. m. in! the Fair-view Fair-view North ward chapel. Bishop S. V. Peterson was in charge. Mr. Christensen was born in Ephraim Nov. 7, 1889, a son of Fredrick and Laura Christensen. He lived in Redmond, Sevier county, prior to moving here. He was a farmer and stockman by occupation. On July 3, 1929 he was married to Gladys J. Graham. Mr. Christensen Chris-tensen was a veteran of World War I Besides his widow, he is survived sur-vived by two sons, Richard F. and Bryant Arden Christensen; two daughters, Helen and La-Vern La-Vern Christensen; three brothers, Ervin Christensen, Redmond; Elden El-den Christensen,' McGrath, Alberta, Al-berta, Canada, and Bladen Christensen, Fair Oaks, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Alvretta Draper, Dra-per, Redmond. Burial was in Fairview city cemetery. Mrs. A. J. Anderson entertained enter-tained at a bridge supper for Rhea Anderson on Monday evening. eve-ning. By Mrs. Bertha Christensen ' (Continued from first page) Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21 for Mrs. Ben-'ina Ben-'ina (Tina) Madsen Blanchett, 79, who died Saturday at 6:35 a. m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lozina Cheney, Salt Lake city, of causes incident to age. Mrs. Blanchett was born in Fairview, December 4, 1869, a daughter of Andrew and Anna Hansen Madsen. She was the widow of William G. Blanchett. Mrs Blanchett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Cheney is her only survivor. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery. Mrs. Ida Anderson has returned re-turned from a two weeks visit with her daughter, Mrs. Helena Brinton and family of Salt Lake city. Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Rigby and Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Jensen attended the BYU graduation exercises at Provo where both their sons were among the graduates. grad-uates. They are J. Keith Rigby and Duane C. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Dae Coons, Mr. and Mrs Vern Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Oldroyd attended the Lions convention at Ogden. Two thousand people attended the banquet. Miss Fawn Christensen, Miss DelVona McNiel of Salt Lake city, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Orten of Rangely, Colorado, spent Father's Fath-er's Day with Mr. and Mrs. Aften Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Terry of Logan were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Lay and family of Circleville spent the weekend at the home of Howard W. Rigby. Mr and Mrs. Ther-ald Ther-ald Rigby and baby of Hiawatha were also visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Lansen Stewart of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Strang of Scofield, were weekend visitors visi-tors of Mrs. Martha Fowles. i Mr. and Mrs. Don Wiseman were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Francello Stewart. Miss Rebecca Sanderson entertained en-tertained in honor of Mrs. Kay Ostler, the former Miss Rhea Anderson, a recent bride. Mrs. Hannah Briggs left for California Tuesday to spend a few weeks with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Coombs and son. Mrs. Thelma Mower entertained enter-tained at a hot chicken supper for her birthday, June 16. Mrs. Fritz Anderson spent the weekend at Salina. Honored On 91st Birthday Mrs. Johanna Ottenson celebrated cele-brated her 91st birthday. Present Pres-ent were her two daughters from California, Mrs. Ellen Wiser and Mrs. Mary Blackham, also Carl Ericksen of California. Others present were Maude Hartley Lorna Tucker, Nancy Stewart of Fairview, Mrs. Madeline Madsen, Mad-sen, her two daughters and sister sis-ter from Monroe. Mrs. Boyd Rigby's Pinochle club surprised her Saturday night in honor of her birthday. The time was spent in playing Pinochle.
