Show Final Tributes Paid To Poulsen High tribute was paid the memory of Erastus R. Poulsen, 78, at funeral services conducted last Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant South Ward. The wellknown Sanpete county farmer and stockman died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 15 of causes incident inci-dent to age at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Faughn Madsen. The program included the following fol-lowing numbers: vocal solo, Pearl Peterson, accompanied by Opal Scoville; invocation, James Monsen; remarks, Joseph Jolian-sen; Jolian-sen; vocal solo, Opal Scoville; remarks, A. H Anderson; vocal duet, "Teach Me To Pray." Prior to his death Mr. Poulsen had requested that this number be sung. It was performed by a son, Ernest Poulsen, and a granddaughter, Doris Poulsen. Accompanist was another granddaughter, grand-daughter, Vida Rae Poulsen. Other numbers on the program pro-gram were remarks, Bishop Leo C. Larsen; remarks, Pres. H. C. Jacobs; vocal solo, Rae Poulsen, and invocation, J. Leo Seely. The grave was dedicated by C. W. Sorensen. Burial was under un-der the direction of the Jacobs mortuary. |
