Dainty refreshments were served to sixteen. The next meeting will be held Oct 25th at the home of Mrs. Malinda Tucker Kveryone attending is asked to wear a costume. Mr. Peter Peterson celebrated his bord birthday anniversary at his home Monday. Relatives called call-ed during the day to wish "Uncle Pete" Happy returns of the day. Mr. Peterson was born in Fair-view Fair-view Sept. 27. 1SG0. a son of Lorenzo Lo-renzo and Anna M. Peterson. He was married to Celestia Terry in the St. George Temple. They were the parents of ten children all of whom are living, and 43 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. Mr. Peterson spent the first part of his married life in Fairview. He was called to the Southern States as a missionary mis-sionary for two years. After he returned home and stayed for one year he was called to Indi-anola Indi-anola to preside as bishop of the Indianola ward for ten years and then the family moved back to Fairview where they are living at the present time. Mr. Peterson Peter-son also served in the Bishopric of the Fairview ward before the ward was divided into the North and the South wards. They have four grandsons and three sons-in-law in the Armed Forces. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Stevens are the proud parents of a baby boy born Sept. 23rd. Mr. and Mrs. William Young of Logan, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Tyson Tucker of Idaho and Mrs. Beth Seibert and children of Burbank, California were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lasson last week. The Relief Society opening social so-cial was held in ootn the North and the South wards Tuesday afternoon. A splendid program and one act plays were given; also games were played. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to all present. A party in honor of all the widows and widowers of Fair-view Fair-view was held at the home of Mrs. Mary Mower Friday evening. eve-ning. The time was spent in playing games. A delicious luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Rueben White of Clear Creek visited in Fairview the week end with relatives. Mr. Earl Hansen and Mrs. Geneva Ge-neva Tucker were married at Manti Wednesday. They will make their home in Fairview. First Lieutenant Allen E. Mad-sen Mad-sen of the United States Army, who is stationed at Camp Hood, Texas and Miss Mary Elizabeth Henry of Waco, Texas, were married mar-ried at Camp Hood, Texas on September 4th by Chaplain Enck-sen, Enck-sen, formerly of Mt. Pleasant Lieutenant Madsen is the son ot Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Madsen of Fairview. Lieut. Madsen brought his wife home and spent the remainder re-mainder of his furlough with his parents and friends. Mr and Mrs. Alvin Brady and family moved to Sunnydale Utah this week to make their home for the winter. cth Both the North and the South ward Mutual Improvement as sociations held their opening social Tuesday evening.
