Show Mrs. Emily Kasler Olsen Passes Away at Payson Mrs. Emily Hasler Olsen, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, died last Friday at 1:45 p. m. in a Payson hospital hos-pital of natural causes. Mrs. Olsen Ol-sen was visiting her daughter, Mrs. Rollo Vest, Payson, at the time of her illness. She was born in Zurich, Switzerland, Switz-erland, Aug. 7, 1876, a daughter of Casper and Emily Hatz Hasler. Has-ler. Converted to the L D S church at an early age, she came to the United States when she was 15 and made her home in Mt Pleasant. She had resided here ever since. She married James David Olsen Jan. 2, 1894, in the Manti L D S temple. . Mrs. Olsen was an active member mem-ber of Mt. Pleasant L D S North ward and was a Relief society teacher and temple worker. She is survived by the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Mrs. Ruby Emily Vest, Payson; Mrs. Lydia Jensen, Los Angeles; Mrs. Hannah Irving, Chester, Salt Lake county; Edgar Olsen, Woodland, Calif.; 17 grandcnildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Tuesday at 2 p. m. in Mount Pleasant L D S North ward chapel hV O M. Aldricli, bishop. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant City cemetery. ' |
