Show Funeral Service Held Here Monday For Aaron Allred Funeral services for Aaron All-red, All-red, 48, World War veteran, who died Tuesday, June 13 in the Veterans hospital at Sawtelle, Calif., was conducted Monday at 2 p. m. at the Mt. Pleasant North ward chapel by O. M. Aldrich, bishop. The choir sang ,"I Need Thee Every Hour," and the opening prayer was offered by Vern H. Gunderson. A quartett, "Come Unto Me," was sung by George Squire, A. L. Peterson, Opal Sco-ville Sco-ville and Alta Jensen, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Norma Kotter. A. H. Anderson paid tribute to his memory and a vocal solo, "There'll Come a Day," was sung by Pearl Peterson. Joseph Ursen-bach Ursen-bach spoke of his life and character. char-acter. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Aldrich. The choir sang, "Jesus Savior Pilot Me," and the closing prayer was offered by J. R. Bagnall. Burial was in the City cemetery where the grave was dedicated ' by Joseph Olsen. Full Military honors were given to the veteran. Taps were sounded by Stephen Neilson, bugler and a firing squad of the American Legion fired a salute over the grave. Pallbearers were members of the American Legion. |
