Show Couple United In Beautiful Church Wedding July 9th Before a candlelit alter amid ferns and mid-summer flowers, Mrs. Bernetta Sondrup of Salt Lake City, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard J. Frandsen, became the bride of Mr. J. La Vern Syndergaard of Salt Lake City. The candlelight, double-ring ceremony was performed Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, July 9th by Bishop Bish-op Clyde P. Grant of the North Second ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in Salt Lake City in the presence of relatives and friends. A lovely reception followed with a program pro-gram and dancing. The bride was given in marriage mar-riage by her father. She wore a model of white marquisette and lace, designed with a sheer yoke edged in pearls, complimenting compli-menting a tight fitting bodice. The full skirt fell to floor length. A bride's corsage of pink rosebuds rose-buds and lillies-of-the-valley was worn at the shoulder. The bride's attendants were Miss La Juana Sondrup, Bridesmaid, Brides-maid, who wore a model of peach colored orchids and white carnations. carna-tions. Miss Marjorie Lasson was Maid of Honor and wore a gown of white net with a corsage of Gardenias and pink rosebuds. Mrs. Ina Barlow was attending matron. Richard Sondrup was best man. The beautiful four tiered wedding wed-ding cake was cut by Mrs. L. J. Frandsen and served by six of the bride's nieces, who were lovely love-ly in pastel evening gowns. The couple left immediately after the reception for a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Lethbridge, Alberta, Calanda, British Columbia, Glacier Gla-cier National Park and Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park. The couple will make their home in Salt Lake City where Mr. Syndergaard is Federal Inspector In-spector in the Machinists Department Depart-ment of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. |
