Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Office of the City Recorder, Mount Pleasant City, Utah, August Aug-ust 6th 1949. Sealed proposals will be received re-ceived at this office until 8:00 o'clock P.M. September 10, 1949, for the work of: To supply andor install on Main Street for a distance of three blocks, beginning at the west line of the intersection of First East Street and Main Street and running thence West three blocks to the East line of the intersection of Second West Street and Main Street; and on State Street for a distance of six blocks beginning at the South line of the intersection of Third North Street and State Street; and running thence South on State Street for a distance of six blocks to the North line of the intersection of Third South and State Street; the total length of said lighting district to be nine blocks; Installation of said lighting equipment shall, except as to the one block between State Street and First West street on Main Street, shall consist of four street-lighting street-lighting units, each consisting of a Union Metal No. 6400-Y36 Monotube Standard, set upon a concrete base, and a Westing-house Westing-house OV-20 Luminaire bracketed brack-eted to the standard, and connected con-nected by electric cable, to a block two of such units on each side of the street and staggered: and as to the one block on Main Street between State Street and First West Street shall consist of six such units of the block, three of such units on each side of the street and staggered; According to plans on file at the City Engineer's and City Recorder's Office. Bids will be opened at this time by the City Council. Instructions to bidders, specifications speci-fications and forms for contract and bond, together with plans and profiles, when prepared may be obtained upon application applica-tion at the office of the City Engineer En-gineer and City Recorder upon the deposit of five ($5.00) dollars, dol-lars, which will be forfeited unless un-less a bid is accepted or plans, and specifications are returned in good condition to the office of the City Engineer by the time bids are opened.
