Mo-roni. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Cloward are the proud parents of a baby boy I which was bom on Jan. " 20th. The mother and baby are at the Dice hospital. Ted is in the U. S. Service and is stationed at Camp Pargs, California. Mr. Heber Christcnsen received word recently from his son, Paul that he has been successful in his work thus far and has been classified as a pilot. He is at present in San Antonio, Texas whore lie will take further training. train-ing. Congratulations to Paul. Mrs. Christena Christiansen left Monday for Salt Lake City whore she plans to spend the coming three or four months with her children in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Elackham are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl born on Jan. 22nd at the Dice hospital. The mother was formerly Mis Maurine Jensen. Jen-sen. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Vance and son of Murray, Utah spent last week end with relatives and friensd at Moroni. Mrs. Olive Anderson is visiting this week with relatiives in Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Worthen, who were maried recently and have been living at Dragerton, Utah, are visiting with their mother, Mrs. Annie Nielson and family at Moroni. Mr. Worthen will leave on January 31st to report re-port at Fort Douglas to render service in the armed forces of the United States. The West Wara Primary association asso-ciation has been reorganized as follows: Mrs. Blanche Johnson, President; with Helena Olsen and Li5a,Ardcrson as counselors. Mrs. TIene Moss will continue as ' 'Tf '! P vr 1 , c- j Mr. and Mrs. Ionnell Christen-cen Christen-cen are renting the home of Mrs. Allen Morley and have moved in last week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hardy and family moved recently into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Morley. Frank L. Syme,. Boatswain, 2!c, is home on leave, the first time he has been home since July, 1938. He has been to Africa, South America and other ports. Frank and his wife visited Moroni Mo-roni Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lees Syme of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hansen of Sunnydale, Utah. They were served a hot dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Odtll Sorenson. Mr. and Mrs. Lees Syme also have ;wo other sons in the Service of our country. Courtney is at present in Hawaii and Glade is in the Navy. They are reported to be well and happy. |
