Show !I. Fred Jensen Died Friday hi Payson ftfter Operation N. Fred Jensen, 52, carpenter and former resident of Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant and Moroni died last Friday in a Payson hospital after -arr operation. Mr. Jensen was born in Moroni, October 18, 1891, a son of Svend C. and Sophie Nielsen Jensen. He married Eudora Wise of Mt. Pleasant in Salt Lake City in 1914. They have made their home in Springville for several years. Surviving, besides his widow, are seven sons and daughters, Ralph Jensen, Long Island, N. Y.; Mrs. Orris Curtis, Fred C, Svend and Betty Jensen, Springville; Mrs. Marie Rostron, Nephi, and Milton Jensen, Spaish Fork; six grandchildren, five brothers and sisters, Hans and William Y. Jensen, Moroni; Thomas Jensen, Mrs. George Christensen and i Mrs. George Brotherson, Magna. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2 p. m. in the Moroni West ward chapel with Bishop Fenton Draper officiating. of-ficiating. Prayers were offered . bv BishoD EDhraim Nelson and Soren C. Nielson and the speakers were Bishop Boyer of Springville, Utah; Arthur O. Neilson of Mt. Pleasant and Joseph Ursenbach, also ot Mt. Pleasant, an oi wnom paid beautiful tributes to his life and character. A vocal solo was rendered by Mrs. Leona Irons, iid also a solo by Harold Arnold-sen. Arnold-sen. The choir furnished three numbers. All the accompaniments accompani-ments were played by Mrs. De-ncice De-ncice Blackham. The choir was directed by Mrs. Florence Chris-:ensen. Chris-:ensen. The floral offerings were :i-ofuse and beautiful, which wee appreciated greatly by the bereaved family, as well as the many rehvives and friends, who were in attendance at the services. serv-ices.
