Johnson John-son visited during the week with their son and duaghter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson at Standardville, Utah. . Mrs. Fern Francom of Levan is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carter. Car-ter. Miss Loretta Fields of Provo spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Wilford Coombs. Alvin Jackson has purchased the home on Main Street formerly former-ly owned by the late Dewey Johnson. John-son. George Coombs has purchased the home formerly owned by A. P. Anderson, who has moved to Salt Lake City, and Bardell Col-lard Col-lard is moving into the K. P. Jensen home, which he has recently re-cently purchased. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnson of Evanston, Wyoming attended the funeral services of their mother, Mrs. Emily Hicks Johnson John-son Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were former residents of Fountain Green. Mrs. Langley Bailey and daughters, Naomi and Myrtle of Nephi, visited Sunday at the home ofg Mrs. Ole A. Allred. Mr. and Mrs. William Collard are visiting for a few days with relatives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Verda A. Llewellyn entertained enter-tained at a birthday dinner on Sunday. Her guests were relatives rel-atives and neighbors. Mrs. Victor Rasmussen of Salt Lake City is visting for a few days with relatives. Mrs. Rena Crowther will be hostess to the Literary club members mem-bers at her home Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Bertha Jensen of Salt Lake City visited during the week with relatives and friends. Mrs. Elmer Holman entertained entertain-ed at a birthday dinner Sunday in honor of her husband's birthday birth-day anniversary. Mrs. Arvilla Jacobsen was a business visitor at Salt Lake City during the week. Funeral Services Held Are For Emily Hicks Johnson Funeral services for Emily Hicks Johnson were held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Sept. 30th in the Ward Chapel with Bishop Gayle Yorga-son Yorga-son presiding. The ward choir sang three numbers, "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," "The Upper Garden" Gar-den" and "Abide With Me." The speakers were Elders William Wil-liam Collard and Jos. R. Christiansen Chris-tiansen and Bishop Yorgason. Prayers were offered by Elders C. S. Augason and Jos. P. Jensen. Jen-sen. Interment was in the City cemetery cem-etery under the direction of the Ursenbach funeral home. |
