Show Syndergaard Is Dean Of Men At Ky. School Prof. Rex Syndergaard, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Parley Syndergaard Synder-gaard of this city, a member of the History department at Murray State College, Murray Kentucky, has been named dean of men by President Ralph H. Woods of the college. Prof Syndergaard who is beginning be-ginning his third year at the Kentucky College, entered upon his new duties at the beginning of the fall semester. Severai months ago he was made associate associ-ate professor of History. He will continue to serve in that position as well as dean of man. He will be responsible for the all-important discipline and housing of men students. Syndergaard is a graduate of Wasatch Academy where he was an honor student. He received re-ceived his B. A. decree from Westminster College, in Fulton, Mo., and received his M. A. at Washington University, St. Louis. He has also done postgraduate post-graduate work at B. Y. U. in Provo. He taught at North Sanpete San-pete high school and at North Summit high school in Coalville, Coal-ville, before serving two years with the Field Artillery in Europe during World War II. He joined the faculty at Murray State in 1946. His wife is the former Patricia De Graf of St. Louis, Mo., and they have two small daughters, Susan and Mary Kay. |
