Show Fountain Gieen Large Delegation Attends GOP Tea At Ephraim Republican Ladies Attend Tea The Fountain Green Ladies Republican club were present at the Sanpete Ladies Republican tea Thursday at Ephraim. Mrs Ruel Christensen was in charge Candidates present were David Wilson, Republican candidate for congress; Pratt Kesler, candidate candi-date for attorney general; Sherman Sher-man Preece, state auditor aspirant; as-pirant; S. J. Sweetring, for district dis-trict judge; B. L. Dart, for district dis-trict attorney; Roger Armstrong, state representative; Gail Jensen, Jen-sen, two year commissioner, and Ralph Blackham, running for 4 year commissioner. At the Lyman Seely home during dur-ing the deer season were Mr and Mrs. Price Allred (Eriid Seely) from Tropic, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Tobler of St. George. Visiting with Mrs. Filanda Allred for a few days are Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Guymon of Salt Lake city. Mrs. Eva Christensen of Salt Lake city was the house guest of Mrs. Eugene Syme during the week. From Ogden are Mr. and Mrs Lester Frandsen and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Frandsen, guests at the home of their parents, Mr and Mrs. Antone Frandsen. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Syme of Salt Lake city and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Jensen of Garfield are visiting at the home of their parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Joseph P. Jensen. Word has just been received by Mrs,. Lillie Robertson that Bishop Dewey Bigler of Walls-burg, Walls-burg, was accidentally killer Monday while hunting deer. Bishop Bigler was the father-in-law of Dick Robertson, formerly for-merly of Fountain Green. |
