Jensen of Chester will be honored at a farewell testimonial Sunday, October 31, at 7:30 p. rn. at the Chester ward. He has Inen called to serve a mission for the LDS church in Denmark. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Justesen j will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary at an open house for family and friends,, Wednesday, October 27, from 2 to 5 p. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rodiuy Irving, Chester All friends and relatives are Invited to attend. Mr. Justesen was born in Spring City July 16, 1S76. lie is a son of Peter and Christine Rohdc Justcw-n, -.-nverls from Denmark to the Church of J-.sus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Justesen was horn in Spring City July 21, 1SS3. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs William Major. Mr. and Mrs. Justesen were married in Manti in 1S9S. They have spent their entire marri.-d life In this community. They have one son, Stanley Jus'.eseii, Chester, and one grandchild. Mr. Justesen has spent most of his life as a farmer and Mrs. Justesen is known for her handwork, hand-work, and has made many beautiful quilts. Mr. and Mrs. Willis D. Clow-ard Clow-ard announce the marriage of their daughter Fern to Calvin Sorenson, son of Mrs. Nettie Sorenson of Ephraim. The ceremony was performed October 9 by Bishop E. Parley Christensen of Ephraim, at the home of the bride's parents, after af-ter which a dinner was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Christensen, Mrs. T. B. Sorenson, Mrs. Maxine Draper, Dra-per, Miss Phyllis Jones, H. C. Cloward, Miss Florence Crane. Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Cloward and Miss Lynne Thomasson. A wedding reception was given giv-en at the Chester social hall in the evening. A beautiful musical musi-cal program and dance was enjoyed. en-joyed. The bride chose a white satin gown fashioned with full skirt and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of seed pearls. The attending matron of honor, Mrs. Kenneth Nunley, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Miss Phyllis Jones, Mrs. Maxine Draper carried car-ried nosegay bouquets. Standing Stand-ing as best man was Thurman Sorenson, brother of the groom. Over two hundred people attended at-tended the reception and dance. Mrs. Eldon Childs and daughter daugh-ter Mariann spent the week visiting vis-iting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Christensen. Mrs. Childs is the former Erva Christensen. Chris-tensen.
